The ReUse Center and DeConstruction Services, both programs of The Green Institute, a
501(c)(3) non-profit, are pleased to offer new, used, and remilled wood product options for our customers. We provide Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), salvaged, and reclaimed for your new construction and renovation projects.

We have many options available so please call and come by to see what we have to offer.

-Sourced from small producers in Northern Minnesota
-Available to contractors and the public
-Rigorous certification system that ensures FSC labeled products come from forests managed
 by strict environmental, social, and economic standards
-Proof of Chain-of-Custody is available upon request
-Pricing is comparable to non-certified wood products
-Flooring, paneling, and other millwork available
-Various widths and grades available
-Both local Minnesota and broader reaching wood species are available
-Birch, Ashes, Oaks, Eucalyptus, Pine, Maple, Poplar, Basswood, Hickory, Cherry, and more

About Salvaged:

-DeConstruction Services and The ReUse Center enterprise help to keep building materials out
 of the landfill,provide living wage jobs to area residents, and provide materials to the
 public and contractors  
-Salvaged wood products are dismanteled from residential, commercial, and some historic
 buildings
-Varied quantities, species, and dimensions available
-Oak, Maple, Cedar, Redwood, Pine, Douglas Fir, Beech, Birch, Butternut, Cherry, and more


    
   Reclaimed:  Grainery Timbers, Milled Wood from Graineries, Barns, Silos
About Reclaimed:  

Through our DeConstruction Services we are able to dismantle and make available wood from barns, silos, and graineries. By reclaiming we can offer large beams and other products remilled from these sites into flooring, paneling, mantels, shelves, and beams.
