We gladly accept donations of quality reusable building materials and donations are tax deductible.  Always contact one of our stores before donating so we can best accommodate your donations and save you time. 

1. Drop-off at one of our retail locations, call stores first. 
2. Schedule to have items picked up for a nominal donation (Contact 612.281.9844).
3. Partner with DeConstruction Services for a suggested donation, and have our crews dismantle and haul your items (contact 612-728-9388).

The ReUse Center reserves the right to turn away material based on quantities of items currently in stock and the general condition and completeness of the donation.  All accepted donations are tax-deductible.  Please check the following list for acceptable and unacceptable items before scheduling to bring them in.

Unacceptable items:

• Incomplete or disassembled toilets
• Incomplete lighting assemblies and track lights
• Chipped mirrors
• Kitchen and cabinet sets with missing doors or drawers
• Incomplete window assemblies
• Window sashes, unless they are antique, divide paned
• Hollow core doors, unless they are newer and light in color
• Shower doors, unless new and in-the-box
• Used carpeting
• Opened boxes of tile, unless the tile is small (2” or less)
• Small quantities of lumber or trim
• Window shades, with the exception of high quality wood ones complete with wrapped hardware components
• No shingles, unless bundles are complete
• Incomplete or disassembled door handles
• No grout in bags or boxes
• No paint

Acceptable items:

• Cabinets
• Doors
• Architecturally significant trim, millwork, windows, sinks, tubs, toilets, tables, etc
• Antique hardware, light fixtures of antiques
• Surplus (new) building materials, especially in quantity
• Leaded glass or stained glass
• Windows
• Large quantities of tile marble or stone
